Mechanical Engineer III

About the Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join our growing Life Science & Industrial team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of related experience developing process equipment layouts, designing and modeling piping systems using 3D software (preferably AutoCAD Plant 3D), generate piping isometrics, piping orthographics, and piping support details utilizing 2D and 3D software. The successful candidate would be mentored by our dynamic team of Process Mechanical Engineering professionals while supporting/leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate would also interface with clients and support proposal development.

Experience & Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5+ years of experience
• Proficient with relevant software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit
• Experience designing and modeling piping systems using 3D software. AutoCAD Plant 3D preferred
• Experience generating piping and duct isometrics, orthographics, support details utilizing 3D and 2D software
• Experience with HVAC
• Experience laying out process equipment preferred
• Experience managing projects and a team preferred

• EIT or PE License Preferred
• Ability to travel 25%
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional Information
 

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Mechanical Engineer III with a salary range of $75,900.00 - $116,000.00 .
