A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Mechanical Engineer at MKS in the Flow Solutions group, you will partner with our engineering team to develop core technologies that enable us to successfully solve our customer’s toughest problems. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager that oversees mechanical design and product electro-mechanical integration.
You Will Make an Impact By:

Learning to work in a cross-functional team environment with other functions including manufacturing engineering, marketing, process quality, metrology and procurement

Conducting design for manufacturability, design for assembly, design for test and related assessments
-
Working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
-
Directing support personnel in preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
-
Participating is technical design reviews (in mechanical & related disciplines) as part of a stage-gate product development process
-
Travel Requirements consist primarily of between-building travel.
Skills You Bring:

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical and system design and 2 years of related experience

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Solidworks (Addition of CREO is a plus)

Analytical skills

Strong attention to detail
