To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for the mechanical design, preparation of drawings and 3D-Modelling required for the execution of Industrial projects and Power & Renewables projects from concept design, FEED design and detailed design.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analysis of regulatory requirement and safety design as per standards.
• Prepare high quality engineering deliverables within agreed timeline.
• Responsible in preparing all drawings document below with the assist from Engineer as minimum:
  • Mechanical Layout Drawings.
  • Mechanical schematic diagrams.
  • Mechanical 3D modelling.
  • Mechanical equipment and routing layouts.
  • Mechanical connection/support detail drawing.
  • Mechanical GA drawings.
• Assist Engineer in quantify all main and secondary equipment, dampers, grilles and bulk materials to be included in Bill of Materials Take off.
• Basis understanding in mechanical system design, mechanical shop drawing and details mentioned in this Job Description.
• Ability to design mechanical systems in 3D model using SP3D / PDMS / AVEVA E3D is an added advantage.
• Performs design and drawings utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Teamwork and able to support other discipline.
• Coordinate clash detection management with other discipline.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical scope of design preferably in Industrial projects.
• Experienced in EPCM work environment.
• Experienced in tools and software such as AutoCAD, SP3D, PDMS, AVEVA E3D, Inventor, Navisworks and Revit.
• Thorough Knowledge of Malaysia Code and local legislative regulations / International codes regulations. (API, ASHRAE, SMACNA, PTS, NFPA, MS, ISO, etc.).
• Added value in having past work experience in the multicultural team and hybrid environment.
• Experienced in project cost estimating will be an asset.
• Strong mechanical attitude and high proficiency in design.
