As a Strategic Finance MBA Intern, you will join our world-class finance team to drive insights and impact across Databricks. During your 12 week internship, you'll work on impactful projects spanning Go-To-Market Finance, Strategy & Operations, and Accounting, including developing executive-friendly dashboards to track real-time financial metrics and creating in-depth analyses to measure sales productivity and ROI across business segments. Your work will provide valuable insights to leadership, helping drive data-driven decisions. Successful interns may have opportunities for full-time employment in these functions the following year.
Throughout the internship, you will be mentored by a dedicated sponsor and have the opportunity to connect with senior leaders across the organization.
Impact you will have
- Design and implement the next evolution of Key Performance Indicators within the Technical Pre-Sales Finance team, providing data-driven insights to optimize ROI and fuel top-line growth
- Develop and enhance our data and reporting foundation, implementing cutting-edge dashboards and tools that provide visibility into key operating metrics
- Present findings to senior leadership within both Finance and Sales, highlighting key trends and translating financial insights into actionable investment decisions
- Solve complex problems analytically, gathering and summarizing large datasets to drive efficient executive decision-making
- Find creative solutions for data challenges and translate complex analyses into clear, easy-to-understand narratives and presentations
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across multiple functions including Sales, Finance, Accounting, IT, Business Operations, and their respective technical teams
- Increase your understanding of enterprise software business problems and develop new skills for your career growth
Who You Are:
- You will graduate in Spring 2026 from an MBA program.
- You have 3-5 years of previous professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, business analysis, or related fields.
- You demonstrate an advanced ability to define and break down ambiguous and complex business problems with limited guidance
- You are an excellent communicator (written and oral), with an ability to synthesize complex information into clear, insightful takeaways and action-oriented recommendations.
- You put the team before yourself and are willing to get hands-on, no matter how small the task
- Previous experience in enterprise software preferred.
- Previous experience with SQL preferred.
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
