Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain/Materials Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various supply chain functions, focusing on improving warehouse operations, inventory management, and data entry processes. This internship will provide valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Plan Update: Assist in the ongoing updates to the "Plan For Every Part" by entering dimensions and updating truck utilization data for parts.
  • Cycle Count Audits: Review and audit the cycle count schedule to identify any missing items, ensuring all counts are accurate and timely.
  • Inventory Recounts: Perform recounts and verify physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
  • Order Multiples Update: Update CCA order multiples for service items in QAD, ensuring order parameters are aligned with current demand.
  • Document Component Storage Quantities: Record lineside component storage quantities and analyze replenishment frequencies based on forecasted demand.
  • Update Signage: Update D-Loc, Staging, and Shipping signage to ensure proper identification and organization of materials in the warehouse.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain operations and inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data entry tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
