Department OverviewEnvysion, a Motorola Solutions company, is a leading provider of enterprise video security and business analytics solutions for the quick-service restaurant and retail industries. Envysion's cloud-based solution integrates video systems with sales data to proactively identify potentially fraudulent transactions and optimize operations without the need to monitor hours of video footage.
Envysion is searching for a Marketing Trade Show and Events Manager to manage and plan our trade shows, webinars and other events. This position will work with the sales and marketing teams, and third-party vendors to ensure that every detail is executed completely, accurately, on time and within budget.
As the Marketing Trade Show and Events Manager, you should be comfortable in a hands-on, collaborative and flexible environment, with the ability to manage multiple events (industry trade shows both large and small, brand specific webinars, customer advisory board meetings, conferences, etc.) simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines. You should be comfortable with technology such that you can help build and manage our Webinar events in collaboration with our Digital Marketing Manager and/or Product Marketing Manager.
Job Description

The Marketing Trade Show and Events Manager is responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Manage the execution of the Envysion trade show program and customer events in adherence to corporate and departmental policies and procedures

  • Full accountability and oversight of event project scope from strategy development, RFP and contracting, to planning and onsite execution, to post-show budget reconciliation, and KPI measurement and reporting

  • Develop and implement project plans, event budgets, critical timelines, and more

  • Work with the sales team to prepare ROI evaluations of each event

  • Generate and interpret post-show reports and participate in the selection and budgeting of trade shows for each fiscal year

  • Execute negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial outcomes; draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all legal and business requirements are met

  • Lead collaboration and drive strong relationships with key contributors (marketing department, product department, channel team, leadership, and external suppliers)

  • Plan and lead customer & prospect facing webinar events; work with Sales and Product teams to develop agendas and talk tracks; work with Digital Marketing Manager for Landing Page creation, invitation strategy, Zoom online event management, and other components for hosting an educational webinar

  • Must live in the Denver Metro area; hybrid role with expectations to travel to Westminster office for shipping needs per each trade show and monthly meetings with Marketing team and/or full Envysion team meetings

  • Exceptional project and budget management skills: accurately and confidently manage all aspects of the event

  • Enthusiasm: bring ideas, enthusiasm, and event industry insights while always maintaining a level of curiosity and desire to learn about our business

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education
  • 4+ years of experience in event/meeting planning or marketing program management
  • Prior customer-facing responsibility
  • Ability to lead internal and external groups through ideation sessions, post-conference sessions, and overall event planning coordination
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
  • Ability to analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements to the attendees’ experience
  • Self-starter who quickly and proactively solves challenges with minimum guidance and direction
  • Thrives in fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge of marketing communications and graphics preferred
  • Proficiency with Salesforce preferred
  • Proficiency in HubSpot’s marketing automation software features preferred in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers
  • Budget management and negotiations experience preferred

The base salary range for this role is $85,000-95,000 per year.
