Job Description:
The Marketing Supervisor leads the development, implementation, and profitable growth of new products and services, product enhancements, and strategic and tactical marketing programs and initiatives. He/She aligns marketing priorities and initiatives with Sales and Operations, collaborates with the Sales team, interacts with customers to develop product improvements and enhancements, and develops and enhances competitive solutions for customers. This position works with public relations, advertising, and trade show programs. He/She develops, implements, and leads marketing strategy and programs for specified products and services.

Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Strategy Development

Develop fundamental understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and emerging trends

Utilize strong business acumen to refine and enhance the long-term strategic plan for expanding market share in Malaysia

Perform competitive analysis between UPS products and services and other players in the market

Identify sustainable growth opportunities, including new customer segments, product/service offerings, or business models
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with multifunctional partners to develop impactful strategies and marketing plans for successful execution

Collaborate with region marketing teams to support launch of new product and service enhancements, develop talking points and go to market strategies

Collaborate with public relations team to develop event plans for external media conferences and thought leadership seminars
Revenue Management & Forecasting

Collect, manage, and analyze data to perform data-driven analyses on customer segmentation and market movements

Analyze historical data and market trends to identify patterns and generate reliable forecasts

Work with cross-functional teams to integrate forecasts into business planning and decision-making processes
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics/Supply Chain disciplines

At least 2 years’ experience in supervisory role

Fast learner, proactive team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong analytical, planning and organizing skills, attention to details

Good articulation skills and comfortable handling presentations to internal and external audience

Ability to work independently and possess excellent communication skills to drive customer and internal engagements
