Marketing Strategy Director

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Director- Marketing Strategy.

The Director, Marketing strategy – Retail will partner with business unit and store leaders and lead a team of marketing professionals to understand the business needs of the fast paced and complex automotive retail division, develop strategies to meet those needs, and execute plans to meet and/or exceed their goals.  Marketing leadership experience in a retail or automotive industry is a plus.  This role has the opportunity to directly shape and impact incredible results and to do it The Holman Way with trust, support, and integrity.

Position Requirements:

• Work closely with BUs leaders to anticipate and understand business needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and execute plans to meet and/or exceed their goals.
• Lead a team of marketing professionals located in and supporting business operations in multiple areas of North America. 
• Drive a culture of insightful analysis, strategic planning, and tactical execution.
• Manage budgets associated with business unit plans.
• Work closely within Marketing department and with other departments such as Customer Experience/Relations, Sales, and Operations teams to integrate the team’s efforts seamlessly with their work.
• Partner with finance, legal, IT and other internal groups to ensure we are executing marketing campaigns in compliance with all laws and company policies.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

Bachelor's degree in a related field required, MBA preferred

Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.)

Relevant Work Experience:

8+ years of experience in marketing strategy.

4+ years of supervisory experience.

Extensive marketing experience in marketing strategy, brand management, consumer insights, campaign delivery, or related field with strong cross-functional business acumen.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $189,530.00 - $298,515.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
