Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategies that will enhance the company's market presence and leadership in the supermarket chain sector. The ideal candidate is a skilled strategist, creative thinker, and a motivator who can drive the marketing team towards achieving the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Build, train, and coach a highly capable marketing team.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development and positioning of the company’s private label products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, purchasing, and merchandising teams to ensure product quality and competitive pricing.
  • Communication Management: Develop and manage the company’s communication strategy, including social media, in-store promotions, and above-the-line advertising.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to build and retain a loyal customer base.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Campaign Execution: Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights, and assess against goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing or brand management role, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or supermarket industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Profound analytical skills and experience in report processing.
    • Strategic and creative thinking capabilities.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
