The US Marketing Intern is responsible for Development of a New Customer Nurture Campaign for Supporting New System Sales in Hospitals and Health Systems, this project will enhance the customer experience during the installation of new systems, building brand loyalty. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, customer engagement, and project management within the healthcare industry. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and supporting the successful deployment of new systems in hospitals and health systems.
This position is part of US Marketing and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Sales, Service, and Field Application Specialists (FAS) to gather insights and understand the customer journey.

Develop Communication Materials: Create customer-facing emails and flyers that outline the installation process and provide valuable tips and tricks.

Conduct Needs Assessments: Identify key customer needs and challenges during the system installation process through meetings and interviews.

Implement a Feedback Loop: Establish and manage a feedback mechanism to gather and analyze insights from customers and internal teams.

Present Findings and Materials: Prepare and deliver a comprehensive presentation summarizing the project outcomes, including the developed materials and insights gained.
The essential requirements of the job include:

Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with an interest or concentration in science a plus.

Proficiency in Content Creation: Demonstrated experience in writing and designing customer-facing materials, such as emails, flyers, or guides.

Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with various teams, and meet deadlines.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to Travel: Minimal travel required; primarily office-based. Possible travel to customer site or Trade Show.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Experience in Healthcare Industry: Prior experience working in the healthcare industry, especially in a customer-facing role.

Familiarity with Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
The hourly rate for this role is $30. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
