Our marketing team plays a critical role in shaping the success of our industry-leading B2B financial events, including the Risk Live event series. We are looking for a Marketing Graduate Trainee to join our London team of 17 marketers, working alongside a global team of 27 professionals. This is a 9-month graduate scheme where successful candidates will transition into Marketing Executive roles upon completion.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Marketing Graduate Trainee to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with best-in-class marketing technology, including HubSpot and Salesforce. The role involves executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing conversion rates, and collaborating with internal sales teams to drive warm leads.

Successful candidates will benefit from 30 hours of structured learning with the Digital Marketing Institute, leading to an industry-recognized certification. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to learn from experienced marketing professionals, including Heads of Marketing who started as graduates themselves just a few years ago.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and track the success of acquisition and lead generation campaigns via multiple digital channels.
  • Set up and monitor the effectiveness of automated campaigns (HubSpot) and lead workflows (Salesforce).
  • Monitor and improve funnel conversion for brands, optimizing traffic-to-registration and registration-to-delegate conversion rates.
  • Utilize online and offline channels to enhance engagement and conversion.
  • Improve social media activity, leveraging platforms to drive traffic into the sales funnels.
  • Understand and utilize AI to bring efficiencies to marketing workflows, including our internal co-pilot “Digi.”
  • Update website collateral and track effectiveness, continually striving to improve conversions on data capture pages.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a passion for marketing and a drive to progress. We are not just looking for future marketing executives but individuals who can grow into marketing management and leadership roles.

ATTRIBUTES & ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • General understanding of B2B marketing.
  • Strong command of the English language – vital for copywriting.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to grasp new systems and software quickly.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Degree-level education.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Accountability: Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Communication Effectiveness: Collaborate with a global marketing team across London, Hong Kong, USA, and Portugal.
  • Analytical Mindset: Track, test, and monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities, using analytics to drive strategy.
