Marketing Designer (Graphic Designer), Assurant, GCC-India
This position is responsible for creative and technical support of visual customer communications including the design, layout and preparation of marketing and business development collateral in print and digital media. This includes learning about additional Assurant LOBs and functional areas to broaden support abilities as well as learning new approaches and collateral channels.
This position will be Remote at our India location. But we are looking for the candidates from Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad regions only.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Strategic Development — 10%
Collaborating with manager, works with internal clients to identify marketing objectives and determine effective creative strategy. Establishes job requirements and deadlines with clients. Offers design and LOB expertise in providing a range of solutions.
Graphic Design and Motion Graphics — 75%
Develops effective and brand-compliant collateral that supports the marketing strategy.
(50%) Generates assets for online applications; including motion graphics for video and online social and paid advertisements primarily using AfterEffects. Generates graphic assets for email and web properties providing HTML for email campaigns using LITMUS.
(25%) Creates deliverables using the Adobe Creative Suite software; primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. As well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for business development.
Uses project management software to organize projects, provide reviews, revisions and secure approvals.
If needed, prepares files for external production according to specs. Review’s vendor proofs as part of final approval.
Subject Matter Expert — 10%
Resolves questions and problems relating to branding, design, layout and file construction. Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of the products and their marketing contexts.
Collaboration — 5%
Works collaboratively with all areas of Integrated Marketing Solutions from concept to completion of marketing and business development collateral.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related
- 5+ years of print, digital and motion graphic design.
- Proactive self-starter, self-motivated, creative, and resourceful
- Contributes fresh and relevant ideas
- Committed to continuous process improvement
- Produces quality work in deadline-driven environment
- Manages multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
- Has a sense of ownership of assignments
- Asks for clarification/direction as needed
