The Role

At Encord, we understand the value of strong design. Being at the forefront of technological change rapidly beginning to impact the world, we’re looking for a Marketing Designer to join our design team to elevate our brand to the next level.

As a Marketing Designer at Encord, you’ll work closely with the design and growth team to produce world-class designs for our growth, sales, and customer success departments. From producing web pages, designing creative assets and bringing them to life with motion. We will support you to grow at a personal and professional level to flourish in your career. 

The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for branding, a deep understanding of UX/UI principles, and experience delivering engaging designs that drive results.

Responsibilities:

Deliver Brand Experiences People Love: You will ideate, prototype, wireframe, and ensure accurate engineering delivery for high-quality landing pages for our core website and campaigns.

Create Engaging Creative: Produce static and animated assets for website pages, our blog, social media posts, performance marketing campaigns, webinars, conferences, sales collaterals and much more. 

Support Encord’s Design System: Contribute to the development of Encord’s design system to ensure quality and scalability are at the forefront of our design output. 

About You:

- Possess 1-3 years of professional experience, with a well curated portfolio that showcases your design expertise, creative process, and key contributions to projects.

- Extensive experience in designing responsive web interfaces across mobile and desktop devices, with a deep understanding of core web design principles that enhance UX. Expertise in maintaining consistent typography, visual hierarchy, layout, and color schemes.

- Strong collaboration skills, with hands-on experience working closely with web developers. A good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles to ensure visually engaging and user-centric web pages.

- Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, with additional expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Lottie for creating dynamic and high-quality designs.

- You have an obsessive attention to detail and desire to progress a brand’s design system to be industry-leading. 

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- A self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.

- Experience in motion graphics, video editing, and art direction is a plus.
