Progyny is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our data management team by cleaning and maintaining our Salesforce database due to the increasing demand for targeted outreach and data-driven marketing strategies. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our marketing and outreach efforts. Additionally, the intern will assist with marketing material and deck creation, email and article writing, event planning, and conference support. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with large datasets while also possessing strong writing and communication skills. The team now supports multiple internal departments at Progyny, along with a nationwide network of Reproductive Endocrinologists (REIs) and Reproductive Urologists (RUs), Canadian REIs, and Labs + Ancillary partners. Our focus is on building relationships and providing support through network education, content creation, communications, and events. Our goal is to ensure all external clinical partners understand how to best work with Progyny and to minimize any operational challenges in the process. 

Progyny’s internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the chance to gain valuable corporate work experience while contributing to meaningful projects that benefit the company. The internship program runs year-round based on the needs of each department, with a dedicated summer program that begins in June. Summer interns will be required to present to senior leadership on project(s) that they have completed during their time with Progyny. The internship program will align the intern to a specific business leader to execute on a specific project plan. This is a paid internship with a hybrid schedule, requiring interns to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  

 

What you’ll do... 

  • Data collection and cleanup: Gather and input relevant provider data into Salesforce to enhance targeted communications and maintain an accurate public-facing provider directory. 

  • Targeted strategy: Leverage accurate Salesforce records to identify trends and support strategic marketing initiatives. 

  • Measurable results: Aggregate and analyze data metrics, present findings to the team, and contribute to problem-solving efforts. 

  • Marketing support: Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, email campaigns, and written content to enhance outreach efforts. 

  • Event coordination: Support planning and logistics for conferences and events, ensuring seamless execution and engagement. 

  • Gain hands-on experience in CRM data management, marketing operations, and content creation. 

  • Develop skills in data validation, research, and business communication. 

  • Contribute to improving the accuracy of our marketing database to enhance outreach effectiveness. 

  • Learn and apply Salesforce best practices for data hygiene and record maintenance. 

  • Develop cross-functional communication skills and gain visibility across multiple departments. 

  • Exposure to marketing and sales operations in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Enhance writing and content creation skills through email, article, and presentation development. 

  • Gain experience in event planning and conference support. 

  • Networking opportunities with professionals in the industry. 

 

About you... 

  • Ability to collaborate closely with various team members and adapt to feedback 

  • Track completed tasks and adherence to deadlines. 

  • Gain proficiency in key platforms, Monday, Salesforce, Pardot (email marketing). 

  • Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables. 

  • Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail. 

  • Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives. 

  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver. 

  • Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross functional resources and teams. 

  • Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $25.00/hour - $50.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
