Who You Are
Justworks is seeking a Director, Demand Generation to establish and lead a high-impact demand generation function at Justworks. This leader will be directly responsible for driving marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline through integrated campaigns with Sales and Partnerships. This role will manage teams focused on Demand Campaigns, Field Marketing, and ABM.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SMB demand generation, thrives in data-driven environments, and understands how to orchestrate high-impact campaigns that seamlessly integrate sales and marketing efforts. This leader will play a pivotal role in our go-to-market transformation by leveraging AI and buyer signals to automate engagement and create personalized prospect experiences at scale.
Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
Pipeline Generation & Revenue Impact
- Own a KR for marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline contribution, working closely with Sales on scalable revenue-driving initiatives targeting prospects and partners.
- Drive end-to-end demand generation campaigns, from strategy to execution and measurement, ensuring alignment with pipeline and revenue goals.
- Build a demand generation program to accelerate the growth of Justworks Partner ecosystem.
Account-Based Marketing & Sales Alignment
- Develop and execute a multi-tier account-based go-to-market strategy in partnership with sales, using buyer intent signals, firmographics, and engagement data to prioritize high-value accounts.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing and Sales Leadership to define ICP, account segmentation, and personalized engagement strategies.
- Align marketing and sales cadences, ensuring seamless follow-ups and personalized outreach at scale.
- Leverage AI, automation, and real-time buyer signals to personalize engagement, trigger automated workflows, and optimize pipeline velocity.
Field Marketing & Demand Events
- Lead Field Marketing strategy to drive pipeline acceleration and prospect engagement, partnering with an Events team for activations.
- Develop in-person and virtual event strategies to enhance brand presence, nurture prospects, and influence pipeline growth.
- Oversee event sponsorships, trade shows, roadshows, and regional marketing efforts and align them with the demand generation campaign strategy.
Demand Gen Campaigns
- Oversee lead acquisition programs, including lead buying, content syndication, and event sponsorships, to drive high-intent prospect engagement as part of integrated go-to-market efforts with sales and partnerships.
- Develop and execute third-party content distribution strategies to reach target SMB prospects through relevant industry channels.
- Ensure alignment between external sponsorship efforts and owned marketing channels to maximize conversion.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, with a track record of driving marketing-sourced pipeline at companies with $200M+ ARR.
- Deep expertise in ABM, field marketing, integrated campaigns, and demand sponsorships (lead buying, event sponsorships, content syndication, etc.).
- Demonstrated success working with Sales and Partnerships teams to building strong relationships and driving pipeline together.
- Experience in SMB demand generation (sub-100 employee segment), with a strong understanding of the buying behaviors of small businesses.
- Strong knowledge of AI-driven personalization, buyer intent signals, and marketing automation.
- Ability to build and scale full-funnel demand gen programs that drive revenue impact.
- Proficiency in MarTech tools (Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, 6sense, Demandbase, Drift, etc.).
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with Sales, Marketing Ops, and RevOps teams.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to optimization and experimentation.
- Experience leading partner marketing or strategic alliances.
- Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) models and how demand gen integrates with them.
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $198,000.00 to $237,600.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
