The Marketing Analyst leverages a strong understanding of reporting systems and tools to support accurate and timely data management and reporting. They will have a background in the online marketing industry, a proven track record of data-driven decision making, an aptitude of analytical thinking, and the ability to think strategically.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will perform data analysis, queries, and data drill-downs on marketing campaigns across several channels. The Marketing Analyst will also interpret results and prepare reports and presentations based on primary and secondary research, databases and other marketing information resources. They will be working alongside other analysts to provide management regular campaign performance intelligence. Specific responsibilities include:
- Collecting of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly campaign data
- Generating regular reports illustrating several aspects of campaign performance
- Conducting analysis based on ROI, CPA and CPE goals
- Applying both qualitative and quantitative analysis in a variety of marketing areas
- Developing advanced lead attribution models
Other Responsibilities:
- 2 years working experience in marketing analysis
- Proven track record of success with in depth data collection and interpretation
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Competencies:
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and maintain a high number of complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel a must
- Strong understanding of key performance metrics including CPL, CPA, & ROI
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Proven success developing strategic publisher relationships with CPA/ROI tracking metrics
- BA/BS required in Marketing, Economics, Business or related field
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/A
Computer/Equipment Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, macros and vlookups
- SQL Experience a plus
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
