Job Overview:
Primary Arms Optics (PAO) is seeking a proactive and organized Optics Marketing Coordinator to support marketing initiatives that drive sales success. This role focuses on coordinating marketing deliverables, assisting in product packaging projects, supporting sales-driven marketing efforts, and facilitating communication between internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while supporting the execution of key marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support and Initiative Coordination:
- Assist in tracking and executing marketing initiatives that support sales team objectives.
- Work closely with the sales team to coordinate marketing materials and promotions that align with sales priorities.
- Support the development of Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials such as displays, signage, brochures, catalogs, and manuals to enhance brand visibility in retail stores.
- Help gather and organize marketing assets needed for sales-driven campaigns.
Cross Department Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, product development, and design teams to ensure marketing projects align with business needs.
- Assist in facilitating communication and coordination between internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Maintain organized records of marketing projects and deliverables.
Packaging Coordination:
- Support the development and revision of PAO product packaging to ensure consistency with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work with the design team to coordinate packaging updates, including gathering product information and assets.
- Track packaging timelines to ensure alignment with sales and product launch schedules.
Optics Commercial Dealer Marketing Efforts:
- Work with social media and sales teams to help create and coordinate commercial dealer-focused social media campaigns.
- Assist in gathering photography and content to support dealer marketing initiatives.
- Help coordinate marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand visibility within the dealer network.
- Ensure social media promotions align with product releases and sales objectives.
Deliverable and Process Coordination:
- Help track the delivery of key product information such as MPNs, UPCs, weights, and dimensions for marketing materials.
- Maintain pricing spreadsheet with all applicable information for all teams.
- Help in the drafting and maintenance of PAO order writers.
- Assist in maintaining organizational systems to track progress on deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in project workflows.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing coordination role or similar.
- Experience in digital marketing, project coordination, or content organization.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a plus.
- Experience in the outdoor, sporting goods, or optics industry is a plus.
