Job Description:

   

Use marketing skills and technologies to develop and implement a web or interactive strategy to reach online customers and prospects or internal audiences. Drive an intuitive, engaging, relevant and integrated online experience that drives revenues and leads while increasing customer loyalty and building stronger customer or employee relationships. Manage editorial strategies and content of online properties (websites, portals), as well as applying new technologies such as chat marketing, personalization, search engine marketing and optimization, pod casting and blogging. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope. Ensure online experience align with company’s brand identity and messaging framework.

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for configuring marketing programs and executing digital marketing campaigns in Marketo, ensuring proper audience segmentation, email deployment, and performance analysis. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain campaign accuracy, enhance automation workflows, and support marketing initiatives across various regions. The specialist will also contribute to process improvements, documentation, and platform best practices to drive operational efficiency.

How you´ll make your mark:

Key responsibilities:

  • Marketing automation & campaign execution: Configure, test, and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and event/webinar communications.
  • Audience management & segmentation: Ensure proper targeting by managing audience lists, segmentation and personalization.
  • Platform & data integration: Oversee data flow between Marketo and other tools (CRM, event/webinar platforms) to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Process optimization & best practices: Streamline workflows, document processes and implement industry best practices for efficient campaign execution.
  • Collaboration & global alignment: Work closely with GEO marketing teams, content teams and demand operations to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business objectives.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Configuring email and automation workflows in Marketo.
  • Managing and creating audience segmentation.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to implement campaigns according to best practices.
  • Monitoring and analyzing email performance reports to optimize future campaigns.

About you:

  • Nice-to-have: Marketo, Excel, basic HTML/CSS (for email templates), Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, or other marketing automation tools.
  • Attention to detail (avoiding misconfigurations that could impact campaign effectiveness).
  • Strong communication skills (coordinating with various stakeholders).
  • Problem-solving mindset (resolving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferably 2-4 years of experience in marketing automation, email marketing, digital marketing operations, demand generation, CRM management, sales operations, business intelligence, customer engagement, event management, or content marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo experience preferred, but training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with setting up and executing email campaigns (or similar digital marketing campaigns).
  • Willingness to learn Marketo features, including audience segmentation, smart campaigns and engagement programs.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills related to email formatting, campaign execution and data sync between tools.
  • Understanding of marketing data (e.g., tracking performance, using UTMs, or working with dynamic content).
