As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in the Growth Marketing team, responsible for implementing and maintaining of automations through various channels. Working with the Marketing Operations Manager you will own the implementation of segmentation and lead lifecycle from marketing activities, and work with various stakeholders across the Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams to support the automation and implementation of lead capture for strategic initiatives. 

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the production and execution of all email marketing activities, including templates, segmentation, A/B testing, dynamic content, and deployment. 

  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyse campaign performance, and provide recommendations for improvement. 

  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards. 

  • Work with multiple stakeholders/channel managers to automate activities, lead capture and reporting, including social media, web, and FlippingBook – utilising programmes such as Zapier. 

  • Investigate the use of AI integration in our platforms, making recommendations for implementation to support the sales cycle. 

  • Own the marketing database, ensuring integrity in data sets, segmentation, and list uploads that integrate between marketing and CRM systems, whilst retaining GDPR compliance.

  • Own the lead lifecycle from marketing, including implementation of AI Lead Scoring, lead nurturing, form creation and data cleansing. 

  • Upkeep and improvements of internal project management platform ASANA. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation or a similar role
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, and Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and their integration with marketing automation tools
  • Excellent knowledge of email marketing best practices and regulations
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Skilled in A/B testing and campaign optimisation techniques
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
  • Experience with lead nurturing and scoring methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and customer journey mapping
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance measurement

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • AI integration experience would be advantageous
