About the role

At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator will develop, generate and execute awareness of Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara and its key offerings through digital presence including but not limited to all forms of social media, email marketing, mobile communications and online reputation management. In addition, work directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing to assist with the execution of public relations and marketing strategies including media visits and coverage, tracking of all related efforts and other initiatives as directed. 

What you will do

Social Media and Digital Marketing 

  • Create curated content that align with Four Seasons Brand identity and amplifies key messages and tells a story consistent with the Residence Club and restaurant. 

  • Utilize available programs to integrate proper User Generated Content. 

  • Manage on-line and social reputation for Residence Club, Spa, and restaurant. Respond to comments, inquiries, and reviews promptly. 

  • Contribute regularly to Corporate social media initiatives and implement local social media partnerships for cross-promotional opportunities. 

  • Manage social media analytics, monitoring tools and report results and findings. Prepare monthly Social Media Report. 

  • Monitor the Residence Club’s presence (Residence Club and outlets) on all relevant websites, including review sites such as Revinate, Google, Trip Advisor, Facebook, Yelp, etc. in addition to other online communities, ensuring content is accurate. Ensure all relevant news is disseminated through these networks with channel-appropriate content. 

  • Initiate conversations and build relationships with digital influencers on a consistent basis. 

  • Read industry and social media news and training materials provided by corporate and/or corporate agencies.  

  • Update and maintain property website, app, and external booking engines within corporate standards, and maintain current image library and video footage to maximize media coverage.  

  • Facilitate media requests, interviews, photo shoots, and maintain press clippings and media lists. Act as web contact for hotel divisions and Corporate Web Team.  

  • Create and coordinate monthly (and as needed) email communication to local email lists through our Four Seasons programs Manager (LMLM). 

  • Assist with Residence Club video and photo shoots as well as create new, on-brand photography for social media posts as needed. 

Public Relations and Brand Management  

  • Produce weekly and monthly marketing reports as needed for month end. 

  • Assist with planning and implementing related media coverage and promotions. 

  • Manage internal content calendar and coordinate content from operations staff ensuring all conceptual and creative ideas meet objectives and timelines. 

  • Ability to create and/or edit in house collateral promotional materials using PowerPoint, Publisher, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.  

  • Provide media with relevant Residence Club news, digital assets, and timely pitching opportunities. 

  • Conduct media and influencer property tours and develop itineraries as needed. 

  • Attend and, at times, lead F&B and Spa marketing meetings as well as other meetings pertinent to promotions.  

  • Assist with all marketing and public relations planning, execution, and operation/promotional activities. Attend Residence Club promotional events as needed. 

  • Maintain excellent vendor relationships and supervise projects, particularly graphics, printing, tracking ad schedules and others as needed. 
     

 Additional Functions 

  • Assist with all guest inquiries within the Sales and Marketing department, including assistance with high telephone volume.  

  • Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for both travel industry and group sales. 

  • Proofread all marketing material, including collateral, direct mail, advertising, printed promotional pieces, guest correspondence, etc. 

  • Create presentation materials for marketing and budget presentations, as well as Owner meetings. 

  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management. 

What you bring

  • College graduate. 

  • Minimum one-year social media and online marketing experience; Public Relations and hospitality experience preferred. 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

  • Photography/videography experience specific to lifestyle/social media. 

  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mindset. 

  • Ability to adapt to the style, tonality, and vernacular of the current “voice” of employee and consumer facing social mediums consistent with the Four Seasons brand identity. 

  • Excellent customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, manage multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities 

  • Ability to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging, and social media applications 

  • Motivated to educate and learn the future of social media as it relates to the Residence Club. 

  • Experience with InDesign and other Creative Cloud applications preferred. 

  • A portfolio may be requested.
