Job Description
The Team:
Invesco QQQ serves a breadth of clients including financial advisors, pension funds, and insurers. Our customers have complex and unique investment needs, which we are uniquely positioned to deliver through 13 investment centres with expertise in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Marketing seeks to connect client needs with our capabilities by creating effective, accountable, multi-channel communications which educate, inspire and support our clients. The Growth & Engagement Marketing team enables this by using the latest martech and best practices to enhance and improve our client’s digital experience and buying journey across all of our marketing channels.
Your Role:
The purpose of the Email & Automation Manager is to manage the email marketing channel as part of a multichannel approach that will evolve and deliver on our wider marketing strategy to amplify the Invesco QQQ brand. This role will work closely with all members of the Invesco QQQ Marketing Team to ensure channel tactics support our business goals of awareness, consideration, and engagement across the digital journey with an emphasis on commercial impact and ultimately driving revenue for Invesco QQQ.
You will be responsible for:

Create email templates for a variety of campaigns that support our email strategy, leveraging key email skills such as:

Code dynamic content blocks utilizing HTML/CSS

Develop/modify email templates and existing campaigns

Setup and programming of dynamic content blocks and personalized content in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Perform QA, troubleshoot HTML, CSS, etc. and conduct rendering test
-
Develop and deploy a robust A/B testing program for email, working with marketing teams to ensure regular testing is ongoing and that learnings are embedded into future campaigns.

Leverage data and analytics to deliver email marketing reports which provide clear insights and actionable recommendations to marketing teams, as well as supporting in our broader education initiatives around using data to drive best practices and solutions.

Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency

Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required
The experience you bring:
-
Experience deploying Marketing Automation and email marketing tactics across various types of marketing campaigns and client journeys
-
3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, coding HTML, and testing responsive emails and emails as part of an automated journey

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications, or equivalent field experience
-
Experience creating corresponding landing pages in Cloud Pages a plus
-
Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS/AMPscript, working knowledge of Javascript a plus

Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development

Comfortable working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Familiarity with email testing systems like Email on Acid

Experience working in a project management workflow system like Aprimo
-
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects that deliver value in a fast-paced environment

Positive interpersonal skills that quickly enable strong relationships with key business partners

Generous with knowledge & time and to educate the business on subject matter expert topics as required
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $80,000 to $90,000 annually.
