Job description
As a Market Research Analyst, you will:

Communicate with ESET employees regarding their research needs and analyze their requirements.

Design quantitative and qualitative research projects based on these requirements, from general outlines to detailed questionnaires.

Program some of the questionnaires in our internal survey system.

Communicate with external market research providers regarding data collection and the quality of collected data.

Analyze datasets using statistical software.

Interpret results into meaningful research outcomes such as PowerPoint presentations and dashboards for management.

Collaborate with team members on larger projects, brainstorm, and consult on ideas.

Contribute to the refinement of existing market research processes.
Candidates with education suited for the position:
-
University degree in economics, statistics, sociology, IT, or a field related to market research (e.g., behavioral economics).
Required Skills and Experience:
-
English (advanced C1 level) is a must, with the ability to provide comprehensive written summaries and research interpretations.

Ability to independently conduct interviews in English with focus groups (qualitative research).
-
Previous experience with either independent or collaborative research design and conducting quantitative and qualitative research—ideally from start to finish—whether in commercial market research or academia.

Ability to analyze data using statistical software (mainly SPSS; however, knowledge of R, Python, or a similar language for data processing is an advantage).

Knowledge of basic statistical tests (descriptive analysis, correlations, t-tests, etc.).

Experience with survey software or survey websites (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Google Forms, LimeSurvey) is an advantage.

Critical thinking skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to research problems.

Ability to communicate research results in a practical, outcome-driven manner.

Willingness to learn about security and technology; existing knowledge, previous experience, or an active interest in IT and/or IT security is an advantage.

Experience with brand tracking studies and working with external market research agencies is a plus.

Experience with financial data analysis (e.g., market share, forecasting) is an advantage.
Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 100 EUR
* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).
* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate
