Market Activation Specialist
A minimum of 2 designated days (Tuesday and Thursday) per week are required in the Ames office location with option for remote work the remaining 3 days per week once initial training period passes.
The Market Activation Specialist will support marketing and communication efforts for the Crop Nutrients division. Will work closely with product managers, procurement and sales teams.
As a Market Activation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative brand activation strategies to promote agricultural products and enhance brand awareness. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing marketing materials and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing materials. Your work will ensure that materials reach the right audiences and achieve desired outcomes.
Marketing Materials
- Develop, manage and distribute communication marketing materials
- Ensure communications are consistent, have editorial style and journalistic look to maintain professional appearance.
- Help create marketing materials such as sell sheets, brochures, presentations, etc. for sales team.
- Maintain multi-channel distribution of market intel materials for internal and external customers.
Campaign Management
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns
- Track and analyze effectiveness of marketing materials and campaigns.
- Use metrics and feedback to make data-driven decisions
- Keep abreast of market trends to inform and refine activation strategies
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product managers, and data analyst to ensure marketing
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, in business, marketing, communications, agronomy, plant sciences or another related field
- 2 or more years of working in marketing, sales, and/or business development disciplines, preferably in agriculture
- Strong project management and organizational planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Salary range: $59,840 - $89,760
