Job Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of the Position:• Lead the area team to get results using Key Operator Indicators (KOI's):
a.OEE
b. Scrap
c. Overtime
d. Manpower Deployment• Ensure everyone on the team is doing his or her job:• Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments.• Troubleshoot for problems during production.• Able to set up appropriate tools in the department.• Follow safe work practices and company work procedures at all times.• Assure work performed complies with QS9000 standards.• Maintain tooling Quality STD's and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to insure compliance with QS9000 Requirements.
Position Requirements:
Communication Skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and members of management at levels of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and statistical analysis.
