Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role:
A career-level Process Engineer capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision. Proficient in evaluating equipment and tooling alternatives, optimizing process sequences, and streamlining operational workflows to maximize the efficient utilization of personnel, materials, machinery, and facilities for component production.
Responsibilities are carried out within a centralized manufacturing engineering environment or an assembly/plant setting, where creativity, initiative, and independent judgment are essential to driving process improvements and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to support key manufacturing and process development activities. The role involves managing Statements of Requirements (SORs) and overseeing projects related to tools, workstations, and specialized technologies. This position is typically part of a larger initiative aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Define and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Develop and document the sequence of operations for production activities.
- Incorporate human factors engineering to enhance workplace ergonomics and safety.
- Ensure efficient material flow to support seamless production operations.
- Lead the design, construction, integration, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
- Oversee successful plant launches and continuous improvement initiatives for high-quality production.
- Provide technical direction and supervision for external vendors and suppliers.
- Contribute to the development and testing of advanced process technologies to drive innovation.
