The Manager of Web Strategy will lead the strategy and execution of the Graco website including the product vision, strategy, roadmap and full product lifecycle management. Graco’s digital properties are the public and portal website with which customers and prospects see, understand, order, and engage with Graco across the globe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital product management, web technologies, and user experience design. The Manager of Web Strategy will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value that drives improved website presence, user engagement, self-service and achieve business objectives.

What You Will Do at Graco

Product Strategy

  • Develop, communicate and execute a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the website aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and grow a firm understanding of Graco’s various customers, segments, and industry digital needs and expectations to ensure Graco meets and exceeds customer expectations with a world class digital offering.
  • Responsible for the full product lifecycle of the product from launch, growth, maturity and decline.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging technologies to keep our website innovative and competitive. 

User Experience

  • Advocate for the customers and drive innovation by conducting research (competitive, market trends), gathering feedback (Surveys, calls, focus groups), and analyzing user behavior (Usability testing, analytics, video recordings) to inform product decisions and improve the overall user experience.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent and disciplined product testing strategy of both front and back-end designs to ensure Graco digital offerings have high customer satisfaction and useability.
  • Sources manage service provider for user experience design of front-end UX, design and HTML of website.

Feature Prioritization

  • Focus the digital delivery to help customers discover, find, size, and purchase Graco products across all business lines and geographic areas. The Graco digital properties are designed to answer 90% of customer / prospect needs to create a seamless, efficient, and well-informed digital purchase experience.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather feedback, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Defines what is acceptable for product delivery for minimum viable product for product launch and additional features associated for growth, maturity and decline stages.
  • Plan and prioritize product releases, coordinating with product delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with digital marketing (content strategy, SEO and marketing content), product information, brand, creative design and product delivery teams to deliver high-quality website features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with digital customer experience analytics team to monitor and analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to uncover trends and opportunities to make data-driven product improvements.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to product delivery teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Promote a positive team culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of website projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact product delivery or quality.
  • Manage budget, deadlines, and definition of scope tied back to yearly product roadmaps.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the organization.

Team Leadership and Financial Management 

  • Lead, mentor, manage, and staff a Web Strategy team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence. 
  • Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities. 
  • Establish, manage, and be accountable for the annual Web Strategy budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with organizational strategic objectives. 

What You Will Bring to Graco

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, with a focus on web-based products.
  • Excellent leadership skills; 2+ years of team leadership experience preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, customer value and business results.
  • Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, user experience principles, and digital marketing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation.  If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.  Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
