Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage sales personnel within the assigned territory and conduct sales & marketing strategies for broiler feeds and contract farms to achieve the sales target set by the company including timely collection, reduce credit risk, recruit new contract farmers and maintain good relationship with existing contract farmers.

Accountabilities:

  • To create accurate monthly sales forecast for broiler feeds sales (own farm and contract farm) and to source for new farmer new contract farms while maintaining good relationship with current contract farmers.
  • To plan the tonnage, pricing and monthly contribution forecast for feeds with the objective of meeting profit and volume requirements.
  • To periodically, visit contract farmers, provide technical support services and manage customer complaints by working closely with feedmill.
  • To analyse market intelligence on market size, prices and competitors' positioning.
  • To contribute to the database of customer requirements, buying patterns and contribution to the organization.
  • To ensure sales are within the specified credit terms and limit of each customer and ensure timely collections.
  • To plan the sales forecast for distribution to technical, purchasing and production departments for short, medium and long-term management of the supply chain, production and finished product inventory.
  • To perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in poultry farming industry
  • Experience in poultry farming, sourcing of contract farms and conduct effective customer relationship management.
