Our Non-employee Risk Management Team is looking for a QA Manager / Technical Lead to define and implement integration, end-to-end, contract, and performance testing practices while managing our QA engineers embedded in each engineering team. This individual will be responsible for representing QA functions in key planning, design, and architectural discussions. They will provide mentorship, oversight, and contribute to the development of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Be a Player/Coach, directly contributing to QA designs and plans, while managing a team of QA engineers.

Have 5 years of software testing experience, preferably having tested SaaS software.

Have experience with Cypress, K6, and related testing frameworks.

Lead technical planning, grooming and breakdown of QA tasks with a clear understanding of the “why” and “how” tasks and projects will be executed

Fill any technical gaps necessary to deliver a great outcome

Provide planned and interrupt-driven technical help and perspective to all QA engineers within the product

Be responsible for verifying the quality of features added or enhanced within the product, acting as a customer advocate to ensure that SailPoint offerings are well-designed and easy to use.

Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and product managers to create comprehensive test plans for new features.

Be able to manage multiple testing initiatives spanning multiple teams.

Work with other QA team members to learn best practices for how to test SailPoint products.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing environments.

Have the courage required to question design and implementation decisions, and when necessary, to stop the delivery of code while critical issues are resolved.

Gain knowledge in the Identity Governance domain, via hands-on learning and formal training sessions.

Be familiar with agile methodologies and be comfortable with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Have excellent English communication skills.

Develop, promote, and maintain quality standards and quality control systems.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar.

10+ years experience in engineering, 1+ year of leadership experience.

Results focused with a track record of success working in an Agile environment.

Experience building and managing a team of Test Engineers.

.Good understanding of software development in Go and/or Ruby; Angular and/or React.

An exceptional mentor and leader with a passion for continuous improvement.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$105,420 - $150,600 - $195,780
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
