Job Description

Provides oversight for technical training team. Collaborates with system leaders and stakeholders to assess training needs and deliver solutions that support and enhance clinical competency, professional development, and improved patient outcomes.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in management and leadership
  • Advanced skills in Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010, Lectora, and other computer-based training software
  • Proven experience in leading project planning and delivery of large-scale training programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Project management certification

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training Development, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration

  • Demonstrated knowledge of eLearning technology and tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of eLearning development methodologies, eLearning development infrastructure, and eLearning project management
  • Demonstrated technology background in order to partner with other technology teams, including web technologies, programming technologies, database technologies, audio/video technologies, cloud technologies, and desktop eLearning software technologies
  • Demonstrated and proven organizational, problem solving, analytical and time management skills
  • Demonstrated impromptu speaking skills, meeting leadership skills, and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated exemplary project planning skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training delivery using current learning methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated technology background in order to partner with other multiple stakeholders, including Information Systems & Technology
  • Demonstrated proven organizational, problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated speaking and facilitation, meeting leadership, and conflict management skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the design of eLearning activities, including computer simulation training, video-based training, animation, interactive modules, learning management system, and third-party tool integration.
  • Provides direction to eLearning Development team to accomplish identified learning initiatives.
  • Directs the development and maintenance of eLearning development infrastructure that efficiently and seamlessly completes customer eLearning project requests.
  • Identifies best ways to provide innovative learning within the system.
  • Maintains an understanding of training trends, end-user experience developments, and best practices.
  • Implements new technology options to meet current and future needs of system learning.
  • Benchmarks and researches learning technologies to support learning design throughout Learning Services and other partners in the organization.
