About the Role:
OUR TEAM:
Within the North American Supply Technical Organization, the Supply Optimization team strives to provide reliable, best-in-class project commercialization expertise and leadership for all change initiatives originated by North America Supply.
To deliver our best performing, most trusted and respected ambition for North America Supply, we author and deliver programs across Planning, Procurement, Conversion, and Logistics that enable agile and efficient supply chain operations, unlock margin expansion and case volume growth, generate intelligence and actionable insights through big data and analytics and drive our corporate sustainability agenda.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managers of Supply Commercialization play an integral role in supporting and delivering the run and improve agendas for business areas comprising the Supply organization. Managers are expected to:

Lead concurrent projects (Tramlining / Conversion / Procurement Strategy) from Gate 1 (Initiation) through Gate 5 (Implementation), satisfying Key Performance Indicators (critical metric) for timeliness, on budget, case fill, and net savings or benefit.

Bring creative solutions to commercialization challenges.

Ability to work cross-functionally and support relationships with Diageo business partners.

Strong leadership capabilities.

Navigate ambiguity and leverage collaboration to solve problems.

Be practitioners and advocates of our Dial Up Behaviors.

Uses strong project management skills to develop and manage project timelines.

Addresses technical and resourcing challenges.

Ensures risk profiles and mitigation plans are developed and implemented for each project.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Credentials (BA or BS degree) in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or a related field.

Self-motivated, detail-attentive and collaborative.

Work experience in one or more facets of our Supply Chain, i.e. Planning / Procurement / Manufacturing Conversion / Logistics / Technical is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead, thrive, provide guidance and cut-through in the face of great ambiguity.

Successful candidates will have strong technical depth and performance management skills, dynamic cross-functional interaction, and highly effective project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
