The Manager, Stakeholder Management plays a pivotal role in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, investors, and partners, which is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities


Stakeholder Management

  • Perform stakeholder analysis and planning during the initial development phase, followed by executing stakeholder management according to project requirements;
  • Carry out both internal and external stakeholder engagements under project authorization, tailored to stakeholder management needs;
  • Plan and implement stakeholder involvement, including post-involvement reporting, based on local communication needs;
  • Create and maintain a stakeholder map to identify key stakeholders and build relationships.

Policy, Compliance and Reporting

  • Align local and central policy and policy analysis with project requirements to ensure effective internal and external coordination;
  • Develop and manage a strong understanding of the wider Taiwan context and how initiatives relate or impact Company’s activities;
  • Collaborate with broader teams to understand key objectives for engagement and delivery in Taiwan;
  • Regularly brief and report on external policy perspectives of the energy market.

Engagement and Coordination

  • Attend and organize local, regional, and international events in Taiwan as a representative, including for skills initiatives;
  • Engage in dialogue with local and regional politicians, NGOs, and be actively involved in local communities;
  • Host delegations at local and regional sites and act as a gatekeeper in Taiwan.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of proven ability in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder within the renewable energy industry or the regulatory authority;
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry and regulatory environment;
  • In-depth understanding of social/political/economic issues relevant to local stakeholders;
  • Strong network with media and local communities and knowledge of present and anticipated issues related to renewable energy;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese local languages.
