Engineering Manager

Job Description

 

Development managers at Flexera play a pivotal role in delivering our products and services to the market. As an Engineering Manager you will be a champion of your team and focus on building, enable, and grow your team. You will be working closely with product management to ensure that the priorities for the team are clear, and that the planned outcomes are achievable. You will be facilitating cross-functional collaboration to bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution, while emphasizing and reinforcing a customer-centric mindset. You are responsible for the overall team deliveries, ensuring that our software is of highest quality, secure, and delivered on-time.

 

As we are expanding our SaaS development teams we are looking for a strong-minded, enthusiastic leader who can help us build and grow our software development teams further

  • Ensure that the team has a clear understanding of backlog, priorities, direction for R&D and our Business priorities
  • Facilitate and drive continuous improvements together with relevant stakeholders, making sure you optimize the whole and not sub-optimize the parts
  • Enable a culture in line with the Flexeras values, with a focus on collaboration and openness
  • Identify team needs when it comes to recruitment and/or competence
  • Foster a culture where people feel motivated
