About the Team
At Workday, we’re leading the way in revolutionizing how users interact with our enterprise cloud applications. Our UI Platform organization is responsible for developing the end-user facing layers of Workday products, which are used by over 65 million employees worldwide! Our team is at the forefront of developing platform solutions to provide enhanced user experiences for Workday users who process large amounts of information as part of their role.
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead our Tabular Data team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a versatile team of Leaders, Engineers and Stakeholders to enhance user interactions within the Workday application. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and critically important platform in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role

Lead a high performing multidisciplinary development team through complex technical challenges, delivering high-quality solutions that power Workday’s UI Platform technology at scale

About You
Basic Qualifications:

You have an engineering background involving large-scale enterprise systems with 3+ years in a leadership role

You have led teams that have built and shipped complex software products while constantly striving for continuous improvement

You have experience with delivering software in an Agile environment

You have a track record in fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment, recognizing the importance of individual growth and career development

You have experience working with React or other modern Javascript frameworks
Other Qualifications:

Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills

Experience collaborating with UX teams to optimise end user experience

Experience with CI/CD pipeline methodologies
-
Experience with Test Automation tooling such as Cypress or Cucumber
