Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the growing global production teams.
- Establish a solid understanding of the client specifications and needs related to production workflows and processes.
- Grow the English operations team consisting of production leads, supervisors, coordinators and editors.
- Supporting the teams by providing problem-solving and solution-oriented leadership.
- Contributing ideas to process development initiatives through engagement with multiple lines of business within Pixelogic.
- Identify and define opportunities for tool, workflow, systems, and team strategy.
- Generate capacity projections, utilization reports, team metrics and post-mortem analyses to effectively gauge productivity and performance.
- Actively participate in client relations, working with content owners and client operations to inform and navigate the changing production landscape in line with client expectations.
- Work with client operations, production leads and subject matter experts to establish and evolve internal strategic processes, introducing improvement solutions that will enhance the customer experience, and leading account growth
- Developing and leading workflow/process training programs across all English services, managing the documentation of processes, training videos, live sessions, and escalation for support.
- Identify areas of opportunity to enhance overall production efficiencies, client requirements, and customer experience and work closely with other department leaders to drive initiatives and to execute on those opportunities.
- Be responsible for implementation and follow up of professional growth plans for team members at different levels.
- Engage technology and admin groups as necessary to support account servicing and solutions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to build processes and make sure workflows operate smoothly and efficiently
- Support Pixelogic’s vision and represent the best interests of both the customer as well as the company.
- Be open to travel between Pixelogic offices to ensure seamless company culture, pollination of ideas and workflows, and overall global cooperation for all broadcast teams

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, linguistics, business administration or related field
- Graduate degree or diploma in management, human resources, or business administration
- 7+ years of management experience including at least 4 years in a high-pressure role leading large teams (25+), preferably in a related industry
- Experience in leading teams of editors, writers, transcribers, content creators, or similar roles
- Knowledge of Localization (subtitling, dubbing) and/or Digital Media workflows
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with various groups internally and externally, natives and non-natives alike, technical and non-technical
- Ability to collaborate with clients, IT (Information Technology), software development engineers, R&D, and internal stakeholders in global time zones, and report to senior managers and executives
- Ability to present, demonstrate and train others in systems, tools, and workflows
- Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
- Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume
- Experience and a demonstration of resilience to a fast-changing environment
- Professional and level-headed demeanor under all circumstances
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of programming/scripting languages
- Understanding of the Agile Methodology and the software development lifecycle
