The Manager, Sales & Service International position is customer facing and responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer account management, including communication with the airlines for the delivery of catering services, development of menus, problem solving, trouble shooting, and responding to customer RFPs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Leads the response to customer proposals, including the development of pricing proposals, pricing strategy, client presentation, and contract negotiations, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and commercially sound submissions.
•Leads meal presentations, project kickoff calls, and strategy sessions to support business development efforts.
•Monitors unit performance and takes a proactive position in maintaining customer quality service standards, facility health and sanitation standards, billing accuracy, and product inventories at the highest level. Works with internal stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
•Ensures compliance with all customer and airline service requirements by maintaining performance on customers as specified in the contract.
•Serves as the “voice of the customer” within gategroup, advocating for customer needs while ensuring alignment with internal business objectives; develops strong business relationships to facilitate issue resolution.
•Identifies and pursues opportunities to grow gategroup’s business, leveraging strong customer relationships and insights.
•Work as part of a team in alignment with the gategroup core values – Excellence, Passion, Responsibility, and Respect
•All other duties as required in order to support the Director, Sales & Service
Qualifications
Education:
•Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience in Sales & Service.
Work Experience:
•At least 5 years of experience in sales, airline or catering required
•Previous project management experience preferred
•Experience in a food related industry is preferred with exposure to multi-ethnic cuisines.
•Experience working with international clients is advantageous to the position.
•A background in revenue management and/or pricing is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Skills:
•Strong organization and/or project management skills
•Account management
•Large scale catering operations or logistics, airline catering experience preferred
•Sales and/or customer service experience
•Able to understand, articulate, and asses the financial impact of customer requests internally and externally
•Able to shift roles and responsibilities as business needs change.
•Able to work effectively in a team environment.
•Able to find innovative ways to solve problems
Language / Communication Skills:
•Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals, performance data, and approval requests to senior executives. Fluency in a foreign language is beneficial to the position, however not mandatory.
