Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in business, health administration, or other healthcare-related field; Masters preferred
Licenses/Certifications: (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Five (5) years of healthcare, process improvement or project management experience is required
- Managed care industry/contracting experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build strong relationships with providers, their staff, and organizational stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects to obtain desired results
Principal Accountabilities
- Coordinates the seamless execution of operational processes between Network Management and Practice Consultants.
- Develops and oversees a tracking process/mechanism(s) for bonus projects, including monitoring and reporting.
- Responsible for CMS-focused projects, such as Medicare Shared Savings Plan
- Initiates a global project planning implementation approach/methodology within Network Management and Operations.
- Oversees the scheduling of the organizational phone system, monitors performance, and addresses escalated customer service issues.
- Supervises and safeguards provider contract files.
- Develops interdepartmental forms as needed to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Develops the materials in the provider welcome and assessment packet; collaboratively works with organizational stakeholders to deploy and implement.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
