Purpose

The Manager Project & Program Management is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and performance of Prime’s project, program, business analysis, or release managers. This position supports the delivery of Prime’s projects/programs and is responsible for managing workforce requirements required to deliver quality services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide direction with prioritization of a complex set of projects/programs, capacity planning, staff allocation, and effort forecasting relating to current and future projects/programs
  • Serve as mentor and manager of team of project/program managers and analysts; develop and coach staff to meet or exceed performance expectations and defined objectives 
  • Define, implement, and manage project/program and quality standards; define productivity targets, quality, and process adherence through metrics, measures, audits, and scorecards 
  • Oversee escalated project/program issues and deadlines; lead delivery of solutions to meet client needs 
  • Coordinate with business and IT owners to ensure projects/programs and outputs align with end state goals/objectives and operational processes 
  • Participate in annual and quarterly budgeting process to ensure prioritized projects/programs are funded and resources are allocated properly
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 
  • 6 years of work experience in project/program management or business analysis
  • 1 year of leadership/supervisory/management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex material to wide range of audiences 
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to manage staff and build relationships across multiple departments 
  • Ability to work as team player; comfortable with fast paced, changing environment and ambiguity 
  • Advanced and strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified 
  • Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or advanced degree
  • PBM/healthcare experience 
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies 
  • Experience in working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,700.00 - $151,300.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
