Manager, Programmatic Platform Solutions
- Responsible for implementing and day to day management for Horizon's programmatic products, platforms and solutions.
- Implementation and on-going management of inventory marketplaces across preferred platform partners
- Ensure negotiated pricing is upheld across Horizon's inventory and data marketplaces.
- Responsible for reporting on and analyzing Horizon's preferred partners on a monthly and quarterly cadence.
- Assist in developing and executing custom curated innovative solutions for clients.
- Responsible for executing Eat & Educate series to ensure programmatic team has most up to date information HMI Agency Partners and new partners for testing opportunities.
What You'll Do:
The responsibilities of the Manager, Programmatic Platform Solutions within the Programmatic Product & Partnership Team are highlighted through the following areas of focus:
Partnerships/Negotiations: assist with programmatic partnership negotiations, inclusive, but not limited to the following:
- HMI agency encompassing partner rate card negotiations (PG/PMP pricing, data premiums, etc.)
- Video investment upfront negotiations (PG/PMP pricing, data premiums, etc.)
- Deal library deal-IDs (SeleCTV, hxFM, Project Embrace, etc.)
- Data partnerships
- Technology partnerships (SSPs, DSPs, etc.)
Productization/Process: in collaboration with investment counterparts, evangelize programmatic within the agency, creating products, process and supporting materials. Goal to shift money from managed service to programmatic, with an emphasis on emerging and strategic channels – examples:
- SeleCTV
- hxFM
- Project Embrace
- OTT Frequency Manager
- YouTube Brand Suitability Partners
Partner Relationships and Education: manage partner relationships across the programmatic ecosystem to ensure that the practice has a forward-thinking approach to planning & buying programmatic media, initiatives:
- Weekly Eat and Education Sessions, HMI Agency Partner QBRs
- Managing partner beta, first-to-market opportunities & pricing incentives
Testing & Recommendations: support testing frameworks for programmatic initiatives + utilize results to inform preferred partners & best practices – examples:
- YouTube brand suitability partner tests
- SSP partner consolidation savings & testing
- OTT frequency manager savings reporting
- Cookie-less partner tests
- Supply Side Curation Testing
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working in fast-paced ad tech environment, preferably at an Agency with RTB based programmatic advertising platforms.
- Proven track record establishing, developing, and executing programmatic campaigns with multiple formats (TTD, DV360, AMZ)
- Experience analyzing campaign reporting data from multiple sources, designing optimization recommendations that resulted in increased performance towards campaign’s KPIs.
- Domain specific knowledge/experience in digital advertising, monetization, video and/or mobile video marketing
- Solid understanding of RTB, video advertising platforms and online advertising models (CPM, CPC, CPA)
- Concrete understanding of programmatic video and services including industry trends, major players by category and knowledge of the RTB based advertising ecosystem and landscape.
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, hardworking, able to drive multiple projects to completion.
- Ability to balance competing objectives; the ability to define and deliver on expectations and balance customer needs with business priorities.
- Build positive relationships and trust through on time delivery of projects, high quality of work, continuous innovation, and exceeding expectations.

Salary Range
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
