The Role:


Yubico is looking for a full-time Manager, Product Management to manage and develop a cohesive Product Management team, with managerial responsibilities. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-energy team, working with customers that represent some of the most sophisticated technology buyers on the planet.You will drive and deliver the success of your products/product areas of focus and expand the use of our technology to new and innovative areas that capture the market demand. 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a cohesive Product Management team, supporting headcount planning and hiring, onboarding, team competency, performance reviews, and career development
  • Ensure that the collective output of the group is of the highest quality while executing on a strategic plan based on the company’s strategic goals and initiatives
  • Lead and develop a Product Management team, assist team through guidance and prioritization of work activities to achieve business goals
  • Coordinate with Product leaders globally to drive collaboration and consistency with processes and tools, while defining business and technology goals for the organization and ensure they are achieved
  • Support team and assist in finding solutions to internal/external issues and challenges
  • Maintain trust of the team under management as well as the larger Product organization
  • Provide data-driven insights on the specific products being managed, including sales and financial performance, year-over-year trends, pipeline, etc.
  • Manage the full life-cycle of a product from inception to end of life including: conception, market and requirements gathering, customer validation, creation of high-quality requirements document, management of engineering, marketing preparation, release and end-of-life processes
  • Meet with customers to understand market demand and outcomes for new products
  • Partner with all teams in the company, demonstrating ownership for the product area of focus, to develop and launch new products that meet company objectives and achieve a successful product
  • Gain deep market and technical knowledge of the market focused on specific competitors and their offerings and strategies
  • Understand the core value of both the products being managed, but also all products and services at Yubico
  • Articulate the core value of the product and inspire team members to be excited about selling and supporting the products
  • Maintain the ability to have deep technical conversations about Yubico technology, but also the underlying technology platforms, etc.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to create or enhance product collateral, marketing messaging, blogs, and related activities
  • Represent Yubico in meetings with key customers and partners to help drive our business

Skills & Experience:

  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in technology and preferably security
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in management
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in Product Management
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams is an advantage
  • Experience in managing stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed functions
