The Opportunity
As the Manager of Product Education, you will be responsible for ensuring that both customers and employees have the knowledge and resources they need to effectively use Canopy’s products. You will own and maintain customer education materials, including the Knowledge Base and Canopy University curriculum, while also supporting internal teams with documentation and product education. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure product information is clear, accessible, and up-to-date.

What You’ll Do:
- Own and maintain the Canopy Knowledge Base, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility for both customers and employees.
- Develop and manage Canopy University, building a structured product education curriculum for customers.
- Create and distribute product release notes, keeping both internal teams and customers informed about new features and updates.
- Build and maintain an internal Knowledge Base to support customer-facing roles, ensuring employees have the resources to assist customers effectively.
- Design and implement in-app user guiding experiences to improve user adoption and engagement.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience (CS) teams to ensure the availability of appropriate educational services.
- Partner with Support teams to optimize AI-powered Knowledge Base applications.
- Work closely with product management to document new features, ensuring accurate and effective functionality communication.
- Assist in new feature releases, ensuring customers and internal teams have the right documentation and education.
The Skills You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in product education, content management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of management experience
- Strong ability to create and manage knowledge bases, product documentation, and training materials.
- Experience in SaaS environments, with an understanding of product release cycles.
- Familiarity with AI-powered support tools and knowledge base applications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and instructional design skills.
- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams.
- Ability to analyze user behavior and feedback to improve educational content and user guidance.
- Experience with in-app guidance tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Interviewing @ Canopy:
We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here’s are the stages of a typical interview process:
- Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it’s a mutual fit!
- 20 minute phone call with the People Team
- 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
- 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
- Final Interview
Interview processes can vary depending on the role. The People Team will give you a role specific overview of the process during your first phone call.
