Location: Santa Monica (Onsite)


Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Design and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure we hire the right people to drive business success.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Manage and improve new hire onboarding
  • Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with our values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for managers and employees, addressing concerns with fairness and consistency.
  • Develop initiatives to boost employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

Performance Management:

  • Manage the performance review process, including goal-setting and feedback delivery.
  • Provide coaching and tools to managers for effective performance management and career development.

Learning and Development:

  • Identify training needs and create programs to support employee growth.
  • Coordinate engaging workshops and development opportunities to upskill our workforce.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Lead regular reviews of salary structures and incentive programs.
  • Provide guidance on salary negotiations and promotions.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop and enforce HR policies that are compliant with legal requirements and reflect industry best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and conduct regular compliance audits.
  • Ensure multi-state and international compliance for our geographically diverse workforce.

HR Systems and Analytics:

  • Manage HR systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Leverage HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions and enhance processes.
  • Present actionable insights to senior leadership.

HR Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with leaders to align HR initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters.

Special Projects:

  • Lead and contribute to various strategic initiatives and projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Management or people operations roles
  • Proven experience in leading HR teams, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Suite
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
  • Start-up experience strongly preferred—we value team members who can navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
