Marmon is now seeking a Payroll Manager with a service-minded work ethic to support our corporate Payroll team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of payroll tasks, provide service support to our Medical group, and participate in related projects. Reporting directly to the Payroll Director at the corporate office, this is a highly visible and essential role within the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Process payroll timely and accurately, including special payroll runs
• Prepare and issue weekly and monthly benefit and retirement reports
• Direct and support the activities of payroll activities for multiple business units within a specific business group
• Serve as the point of contact to support payroll practitioners at the business unit level
• Stay current with federal and state payroll legislation and regulations
• Serve as a liaison between payroll and the internal retirement teams to support inquiries around deductions
• Managed special projects and support other process automation initiatives at the direction of the Payroll Director

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Workday, preferably in a multi-location environment
• PayrollOrg, Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) minimum a plus
• ADP custom reporting and Smart Compliance experience a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate-to-high level of Microsoft Excel expertise
• Passion for payroll, collaboration, learning, process improvements, and technology
• Enthusiasm for teaching and helping others
• A “roll up your sleeves” attitude and willingness to do the day-to-day work
