Job Summary
The Manager of Other Intl Accounting is responsible to manage all record-to-report accounting processes associated with Papa Johns Other International businesses. This position is responsible for key International monthly accounting entries and uploads, monthly/quarterly reporting and analyses, certain Intercompany accounting, and driving improvement in cross-functional management of operations supporting the International business. This position will liaise between the International team (including International FP&A) and internal/external auditors in the accomplishment of quarterly and annual audits, in-sourcing the work while onboarding from the current out-sourced service provider.
Duties & Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

Perform all month-end, quarterly, and annual closing and financial reporting processes including journal entry review, account reconciliation, applicable internal controls, and variance analysis for various international legal entities

Prepare Other International wire requests and partner with stakeholders, Accounts Payable, and Treasury for proper coding, approval, and processing of invoices and wire payments

Partner with the AR team regarding revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable/billing management

Work with International FP&A team to understand Global Restaurants Forecast and Actuals results

Prepare monthly Intercompany Billings

Monitor and bill International loans, exclusivity fees, license fees, renewal fees, and transfer fees

Manage the monthly accounting of the Brand Global Marketing Fund and create reporting for International FP&A to drive actionable insights into fund performance

Manage International contractor payments, bonus payment and contract renewals with third party vendors and human resource team

Prepare and record amortization of monthly Franchise Fees, Transfer Fees and Renewal Fees

Documentation of processes and procedures for training and compliance

Serves as liaison between international team and internal/external auditors and prepares audit support for auditors

Education, Experience & Certifications
-
Bachelor’s degree required – Accounting and/or Finance
-
Multi-currency and international company experience (including multiple GAAP/ledger reporting)
-
U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls/SOX
-
International, public company experience required
-
5-7+ years' experience required
Functional Skills
-
Significant GAAP working knowledge
-
Deep subledger and General Ledger experience in a multi-national, public company environment

Demonstrated ability to quickly establish trust and build relationships

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Seeker and enabler of driving value-added process improvements (experience with robotics process automation preferred)

Strong systems experience including Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, and HFM
-
Multi-currency and Intercompany experience
