As the Manager, Subject Matter Expert for Supply, Deployment OMP Continuous Improvement, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Sr Manager Integration and Scrum Master to roll out new enhancements for OMP. You will also collaborate with the business, KHC IT, OMP, KHC Finance, and our Center of Excellence in this role.
You will support aligning the business on priorities and maintaining our backlog in Jira. Next, you'll align with OMP on design and timeline. During the design phase, your expertise Supply and Deployment Planning will help us design the right solutions to solve business pain points. You'll help answer integration questions like how new functionality will work with existing functionality. As we design, you will own how to measure value for these enhancements so we confirm they are solving the problem at hand and saving the company money. During the build phase, we will need help confirming OMP is on track to deliver build to expectations. Once they have built, you will lead getting supply and deployment enhancements tested and training documents drafted. If we find bugs when testing, you will drive defect fixes with OMP within our service level agreements. When testing is complete, we'll need to collaborate with KHC IT and OMP to get the enhancements into the production environment. Then you'll need to collaborate with our Center of Excellence as they roll the functionality and related new processes out to the business. After implementation, we will need your support measuring how value actualizes versus expectations.
As a KPI focused organization, you will help us stay on track to reach our targets and deliver objectives. We will need your problem-solving mentality to come to solutions if we get off track. As an Agile team, you will help us use Agile methodology to keep track of open actions and deliver goals via Jira and similar functionality.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Support OMP Pod Lead during design, build, testing, and implementation of new functionality:

  • As the SME on Supply and Deployment features, participate in core process design and decision making in support of the enhancements (50%)
  • Responsible for collaborating on change management activities with Center of Excellence, including training, and cross functional onboarding once process is live (30%)
  • Will support the value tracking for new enhancements, including proposing measurement strategy and proving that enhancements are adding the value expected (20%)


Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • This role is a leader and decision maker on continually enhancing the OMP tool
  • This person is a specialist in their workstream and is able to guide and lead discussions including a future /open / improvement mindset. Business experience in Supply Planning or Deployment Planning a plus.
  • This person needs effective cross functional communication skills as they would be leading the workstream including driving decisions and the ability to push back on OMP when needed.
  • SAP and/or OMP expertise a plus
  • Budget creation/ maintenance is a plus, this position will be a part of driving the strategy and optimizing value of the tool through strong change management skills
  • Agile/ Scrum experience


This is an onsite position at our Chicago Aon, Pittsburg PPG or Toronto QQT office.
