Our Manager, Freight & Logistics NA Procurement role is responsible for participating in the sourcing of $340 million in NA freight, storage and logistics spend for the McCain Foods company. This includes creating and maintaining relationships with key freight, logistics and warehousing suppliers on behalf of McCain. Consolidate and maintain the supporting information used for sourcing activities including competitive bidding and contract negotiations. Support supplier relationship management and governance including monitoring performance versus expectations, including the creation of key performance indicators (KPI). Will also be required to recommend, approve and implement business allocations.
Bring leadership on market knowledge, influencing business needs and commercial results to the company. Must have in-depth knowledge of: • Procurement Skills and Best Practices• Freight and Logistics• Supply Chain Operations
Communications and Interactions - The person will manage multiple internal and external organizational relationships. They will lead several supplier relationship management engagements for the spend area, ensuring proper commercial treatment of suppliers by reinforcing policy, ethics and our strategic approach with suppliers and with other company departments.
Engage and collaborate with cross region with peers and other team members of the F&L category to deliver best practices and accelerated results.
This role can be in Oakbrook, IL, Florenceville, NB or Toronto, ON office location.
Accountabilities:
Build reporting and KPI scorecards by working with the operators and IT team to create reporting
Build supplier relationship program for the relative markets to deliver significant value for McCain Foods
Ensure company purchases in the spend pool comply with company internal controls requirements
Build strong client relationships with the McCain team in the freight and logistics category.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or Engineering. A master's degree would be an asset
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of freight and/or logistics experience, preferably in Procurement

Compensation Package : $91,000.00 -$131,400.00 USD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
