Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Marketing Planning to join our growing team! As Manager, Marketing Planning, you will be responsible for structuring and overseeing the planning processes within the Consumer Organization. This role ensures organizational alignment, prioritization, and visibility of various projects, including Change Management initiatives, Go-to-Market strategies and general program management. The Manager drives agile execution, sequencing, and capacity planning for multiple interconnected projects, ensuring successful delivery in line with strategic objectives. The role also involves synthesizing initiatives into actionable content for channel planning and readiness, tailored for all levels of the Consumer Marketing Organization. Effective communication skills are crucial for engaging with diverse stakeholders.

 As Manager, Marketing Planning you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing the project and program pipeline, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation
  • Developing and monitoring the project funnel to track progress, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Clarifying project intake processes, assigning resources based on capacity, and serving as the main point of contact for project status updates throughout the gating process
  • Aligning project goals with business objectives and strategic priorities, continuously improving the process
  • Producing comprehensive Marketing Calendars, including major product launches, Go-to-Market initiatives, and other key activities (30, 60, 90+ day views)
  • Leading alignment and prioritization meetings with leadership to ensure consistent project focus and integration
  • Facilitating collaboration and communication across teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Utilizing project management tools and systems (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira) to streamline processes and minimize redundancy
  • Creating and maintaining reporting views to monitor pipeline health, managing change fatigue, and providing end-to-end visibility of project lifecycles
  • Developing leadership reports on the project pipeline by gate, launch dates, and project types

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Go-to-Market, or Channel Readiness roles
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, market research techniques, and campaign management. Proficiency in project management software (Asana, Smartsheet, Jira) is required
  • Proven ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex information to all stakeholders

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification in digital marketing or data analytics
  • Experience in sales or telecommunications
