As the Manager of Reporting & Analytics reporting to the VP Marketing Operations & Digital, you will be a working manager a team of reporting and lead specialists while being responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of data reporting systems.  Critical to this role is the hands-on developing and standardizing how we measure and bring insights to life visually for program performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and communicating key findings to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. 

Chicago area base is desired, but North America based remote is available to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Define the overall reporting and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress. 
    • Develop and manage the reporting and analytics roadmap, including technology upgrades and data infrastructure improvements. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data insights. 
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of data and marketing lead specialists, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and developing their analytical skills. 
    • Foster a data-driven culture within the team and across the organization, encouraging the use of data for informed decision-making. 
    • Manage offshore and agency resources
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Design and build complex data visualizations and dashboards using business intelligence tools (Power BI) to present insights effectively. 
    • Create Executive, CMO and Practitioner dashboards, comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across different levels of the organization. 
    • Work with 6sense to provide segmentation support to the marketing management and digital marketing teams, enabling top-performing programs.
  • Data Governance and Quality:
    • Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data governance processes, including data cleansing, validation, and documentation. 
    • Work cross-functionally to gain alignment for maintenance and improvement of data sourced systems
    • Monitor data pipelines and systems to identify and address potential data issues. 
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to senior leadership, providing recommendations based on analysis. 
    • Proactively identify areas of opportunity and present data-driven recommendations to improve business performance. 
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different departments to understand their reporting needs. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Degree in business analytics, accounting, economics, or related discipline preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in product, marketing, finance; experience evaluating complex business problems, data analysis and devising recommendations
  • Experience in Analytics, Consulting, Marketing, Product, or Strategy preferred

Pay:

$102,400.00 - $153,600.00 + Eligible for Variable Compensation Plan
