Position Summary
1. Provide an optimum solution through a contract review and legal counsel.
2. Minimize the company's legal risks by responding to major disputes.
Role and Responsibilities
1. [Supporting to examine a contract] Review a major contract which involves a large-sized project. Examine a contract to minimize legal risks.
2. [Legal counsel support] Provide a legal counsel regarding decision-making organizations like general meeting of shareholders and management committee and projects like M&A. Examine a contract to minimize legal risks.
3. [Responding to a dispute and government investigation] Establish a strategy to respond to major disputes like litigation, arbitration, and claim and a country's government investigation.
4. [Identifying and responding to a country's legal trend] Identify and analyze a country's regulation-related trend (legislation and precedent) which is related to the company's business like labor, environment, HR, and fair trade. Suggest a response measure.
Skills and Qualifications
• Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
• Works on complex issues where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates other's tasks
• May manage a group such as coordinating activities regarding costs, methods and staffing
• Typically requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years
