Purpose
The Manager, IT Office is a central operational and strategic role supporting the Chief Information Officer in managing the effectiveness, coordination, and alignment of the global IT organization. This role ensures the IT function runs efficiently, communicates effectively, and is aligned with business strategy and governance standards. It is a key enabler of high performance within the IT leadership team and across the global IT function.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Support to the CIO
- Serve as a trusted advisor and right hand to the CIO, ensuring follow-through on priorities and decisions.
- Prepare executive briefings, leadership presentations, and board-level materials.
- Manage the CIO’s calendar of strategic initiatives, governance activities, and internal stakeholder engagements.
IT Office Operations & Governance
- Drive IT governance processes including planning cycles, performance reviews, KPI tracking, and risk reporting.
- Coordinate budgeting activities in partnership with Finance and IT leaders.
- Maintain and improve core operational processes, including team structures, ways of working, and decision-making forums.
IT Communications
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure consistency, clarity, and transparency across the global IT function.
- Manage content and delivery of communications from the CIO and the IT leadership team, including newsletters, town halls, and intranet content.
Leadership Team Coordination
- Organize and facilitate meetings of the IT leadership team, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate offsites, strategic planning workshops, and cross-team collaboration efforts.
- Track strategic initiatives and ensure accountability across the leadership team.
Collaboration & Integration
- Act as a liaison between IT and key corporate functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance) to support audits, reporting, and policy adherence.
- Support organizational change and transformation initiatives through effective coordination and communication.
- Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT operations, executive support or governance roles within large organizations.
- Experience working in or supporting global IT teams.
- Familiarity with IT operating models, performance management, and budget processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset.
- Strong proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
