Job Summary:
The Manager, IT Financial Systems Development is responsible for setting the vision and direction for Application Development and Support teams with best practices and understanding of the vision at CareSource IT. In addition, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading teams of Information Technology professionals and their deliveries of the full SAP system, including surrounding custom solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with customers, business partners, architects, project managers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards
- Provide leadership, vision, management goals, priorities, metrics, measures, recognition and discipline
- Drive a professional relationship between key business stakeholders and IT
- Responsible for the team’s execution of planned and carryover work
- Develop strategy and efficient processes to enable teams to get quality/efficient delivery
- Understand IT needs and evaluate delivery process to drive continuous improvement
- Liaise closely with other IT teams to optimize the use of systems and applications
- Regularly assess the associated technology platforms to ensure that the platforms meet the required standards for reliability, availability, security, cost and performance, business value justification, regulatory compliance, and architecture
- Develop, document, and maintain short and long-term plans for the delivery model
- Represent IT in project and/or business meeting and engagements
- Participate in departmental meetings/activities and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Develop career plans for staff based on their input and personal and team objectives
- Leverage personnel to develop new programs and systems in relation to assigned responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage vendor relationships and accountability on project involvement and deliverables
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years of technical SAP experience is required
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience is required
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications is required
- Experience with management of enterprise level financial systems such as SAP, People Soft, Oracle, Dynamics, etc. is required
- Experience with Agile Development processes is required
- Proven experience implementing a service oriented architecture set of applications or web services is preferred
- Experience with development of tools and utilities with the Microsoft frameworks is preferred

- Knowledge of the healthcare and managed care philosophy and culture
- Overall knowledge and understanding of IT environment
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff
- Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals in a fast moving environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
- Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of the healthcare and/or managed care philosophy and environment a plus
Licensure and Certification:
- PMP or Six Sigma certifications preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$90,500.00 - $158,400.00
